Adaptive Traffic Control

The Traffic Control System is a comprehensive traffic management solution designed to efficiently monitor and regulate road traffic. Developed with the aim of enhancing road safety, optimizing traffic flow, and improving overall mobility, this system integrates advanced technologies for effective control and management.

One of the primary components of the system is the implementation of smart traffic lights. Leveraging artificial intelligence, these lights adaptively adjust in real-time based on factors such as traffic density, time of day, and other relevant conditions. This dynamic approach enhances the efficiency of traffic signal management, reducing congestion and facilitating smoother traffic movement.

The system incorporates a network of surveillance cameras and sensors strategically placed to monitor road conditions continually. These devices automatically identify traffic violations, such as speeding or running red lights, contributing to improved law enforcement and overall safety.

For efficient traffic flow management, the system employs an intelligent routing system. By considering current road loads, construction activities, and other variables, optimal travel routes are generated to alleviate congestion and enhance overall transportation efficiency.

Intelligent information display boards are strategically placed to disseminate real-time information to drivers and pedestrians. These boards convey critical data, including traffic conditions, estimated travel times, accident alerts, and other relevant information, contributing to enhanced situational awareness.

In emergency situations, the system features an immediate response mechanism. Automated control of traffic lights in emergencies ensures the safety of road users and helps in emergency service access.

The Traffic Control System also provides decision support tools by offering analytical data and reports on traffic patterns. City planners can leverage this information for infrastructure optimization and strategic decision-making.

The pilot project was launched in Ukraine. Kharkov at the intersection of the following streets:

st. Vernadsky – st. Netechenskaya,
st. Vernadsky – st. Malomasnitskaya,
ave. Gagarin – per. Molchanovsky,
ave. Gagarina – st. Dairy,
ave. Gagarina – ave. Heroes of Stalingrad,
ave. Gagarina – ave. Lev Landau.

The length of the transport highway section is 7.37 km.
